To avoid having to share credentials, we’ve set up additional accounts. They have no devices, and exist only so they can be granted access to our main account. This lets them log in with their own credentials to manage setups etc.
When such a user tries to post in the community forum, a message appears that they have to have at least one device in their account. This means that only the main account can use the community forum.
Not sure how this can be addressed; possibly by adding a permission, controlled by the main account, allowing an account that has been granted access to also post in the forum? Or possibly by checking not just for devices controlled by the wanna-be poster, but also for devices in accounts the wanna-be poster has been granted access to?
Not a big problem, anyway. Just a thought.
