Emoji In Web Browser

I’m hoping to use info-beamer but for my use case I need to display a webpage which uses Emoji as quite a key component. Unfortunately while the content is mostly static it does need to be a webpage in order to dynamically update. It seems that neither the fullscreen browser or the scheduled player can display a webpage with coloured emoji by default.

Is there any way to work around this, can we add extra fonts for the fullscreen browser to use somehow?

Ah, I think I’ve managed to achieve this myself by editing the default Fullscreen Browser Package and adding Twemoji.Mozilla.ttf to /usr/share/fonts/truetype/Twemoji.Mozilla/ in the overlay.squashfs file.

I apologize for the lack of an earlier response. I’ll see that the font is included by default in a future release.
