I have Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB. Unfortunately, the full screen browser consumes all memory when playing an embedded video. The 4GB version is fine. Is there a way to limit the storage?

I assume by “limit the storage” you mean “reduce memory usage”? No. Browser are memory hogs. Memory usage by other processes on the Pi should be fairly light and if that’s not enough, I fear you need a model with more memory if you intend to play videos within the browser.
