i try to setup a livestream to show but nothing show.
by using the livestream package

YouTube regularly changes how their website works. Streaming relies on poking around in their HTML/JS soup to figure out where the true HLS stream comes from. This will break randomly once YouTube updates their site. I’ve updated the livestreamer package to include the latest streamlink version. It’s the tool responsible for handling the content extraction. I tested it on a few live streams and it seems to work for now. Although some videos result in a playback error as they are “protected”. I’m not entirely sure what that means and there is probably no sane way to get those with streamlink. So if your stream happens to be one of those, you’re out of luck. You can update your package by clicking on the Check and update to latest release button on its package page.
If you want something reliable, I would highly recommend playing video streams directly from an HLS video source as that avoid all the horrible hacks required to play YouTube.
