@infobeamer-fw , I love the Scheduled Player package. Thanks so much for developing it. I have sucesfully used your package with my Raspberry Pi to create a date and time overlay for message screens that I use to display as reminders for my mom who has Alzheimer’s. This has been very helpful in remindering her what the current date and time is, as well as things she has on her to-do list for the day (e.g., Showever, Go with daughter to get a haircut, etc.). I’ve been able to write a custom HTML page that uses javascript to display the current date and time at the top of each screen with the browser poller plugin layout and then the playlist consists of screens with tasks or items on her to-do list. However, I have to remember to manually set the layout on each of the tasks/to-do list screens to the date/time layout. It would be amazing if there was a way to set a global default layout for all screens that appear in my playlist setup.
Do you think this could be added as an enhancement? I greatly appreciate it, and I can’t thank you enough for how much easier you’ve made it to remind my mom of things she would otherwise forget with her condition.
